NSD Challenge

A quick share. I got very little done in the way of scrapping on NSD. I did manage to get this layout done for the challenge on the Hero Arts blog and for a stamping on a scrapbook page at 2 peas. Normally I don't combine challenges but I am this time ;)



I love the sketch by Kandis so much that I stayed true to it. It's rare that I follow a sketch exactly. This is one of those rare times. It's just such a great layout design and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. It's rare that I get all 7 of us in one place at the same time...let alone with all our clothes matching and everyone in a decent mood. It hasn't happened since this photo in 2005 so I had to scrap it! :)

I used the line cling stamp (CG186) on the background. That sucker is hard to line up even with the stamp-a-ma-jig. It took me 3 tries but I was determined! lol I used the graph stamp (S5435) in white on the kraft and I love it. I love those stamps.

I cut the heart and the word family out with my Silhouette.
