Ho Ho Ho Gift card holder

I'm here with a quick share today. I made this super quick gift card the other day with very few products.

The stamp set is from Hampton Arts. I bought it years ago and forgot I even had it until we moved last year and found it. I love this little Santa.  I made the card a tad smaller than normal. I used a 1 inch crease at the bottom of the card to fold up inside so I could put a gift card inside. I colored Santa with some Prisma colored pencils and used this die from Simon Say Stamp.

Super fast, super cute.

Tomorrow I will be here with a watercolor card for a2z Scrapbooking and on Monday I am going to show you how I used this set to create a winter card. Don't believe you can use flowers for a wintery card? Come back Monday and I'll show you how easy it really was! :)

I'm also entering this card in this weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is all about Christmas and Holiday's

See you then.

Create A Smile Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be here to share a new stamp company, with a new stamp release, with you today!

Create A Smile is a new stamp company in town - their first stamps were released in July 2014. The stamps are made of high quality photo-polymer and produced in Germany. They will for sure make you smile!

These are the facts:
Create A Smile is releasing three sets TOMORROW! You can find their store at www.createasmilestamps.com, the stamps will be available for purchase at 8am CET (2am EST).

You should have arrived here from the very talented, super sweet Linda Trace's Blog

Here are the two sets being released:

Whimsical Wheels

Penguin Party

Here is the card I created for the hop using Whimsical Wheels:

I used digital images that Christine Drogt, the owner and designer of Create a Smile, sent to me. They may be off a little in size as I did use a digital image. I tried my best to get them to be true to size.  I love this little train set. I added a third car to it.  I wanted one to hold the sentiment and another to hold the hearts. I drew in the train tracks with a black fine point pen and highlighted it with a silver colored pencil.

I went for clean and simple on this design because this train is just too cute to not be the entire focus of the card. Christine does an AMAZING job at designing these stamps. There are so many uses and sentiments to go with it. It's not just for little boys. ;)

I masked off the car before stamping some hearts into it (the hearts aren't in the set sorry), I added some waterfall stickles to those adorable puffs of smoke. I also resized those in photoshop.  Isn't this set just adorable? Wouldn't you LOVE to WIN a set?

You can win a 12,50€ gift-certificate for the Create A Smile store - all you need to do is hop along and leave comments on all the fantastic and inspiring stops (one comment per person, per blog please!). We’ll pick random winner from all the comments - so the more blogs you visit (and leave a comment on) - the more chances you have to be a winner!

You have until Saturday September 12th, 8am CET (that's 2am EST). The winner will be announced on the Create A Smile Blog on Sunday (September 13th)
Enjoy the hop!

Now hop on over to the very talented Samantha Mann. At any time during the hop that you get lost or find a broken link the list is below.

Season's Greetings....Wait? WHAT???

Yes, you read that right....SEASON'S GREETINGS!!!!! It's getting to be that time of year where we must think about Christmas Cards. It kills me...I want Summer and my flip flops every single day of the year. But...it is just not meant to be. Hero Arts came out with a new catalog and a2z Scrapbooking and the Design Team are celebrating it this month. So our theme for the month is FALL & Christmas!

For my card I used two new sets from the Holiday Hero Arts catalog. They were instantly my favorites when I saw them and I have a lot of ideas in store for these. Here is today's card:

I started by stamping the Poinsettia's in Red Royal Mid-tone ink and the Holly Leaves in Forever Green. I then took my Prismacolor Pencils and shaded them. I love to add shading to a stamped image with colored pencils and blend it in with some Gamsol. I think it adds so much to it. I finished by adding a shadow in light gray, a few dots of Viva Pearl Dots (LOVE) and a sentiment embossed in Liquid Platinum.

I finished with Wink of Stella....look at that sparkly goodness. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that pen!!!!

If you would like to purchase some new stamps from the Hero Arts catalog, then head over to  a2z Scrapbooking Store and use the code MICHELLE15 to receive 15% off of your order!!!

That's all for me today. Head on over to a2z's Scrabooking Blog....you want want to miss the goodness the other girls  have for you.

I'll be back with a 2nd post later today to show you a NEW stamp set from SIMON SAYS STAMP TOO!

Mootiful Birthday

HI!!!!  I'm finally back!  I have been dying to share projects that use the new release from Simon Says Stamp called "This is the Life". If you haven't seen it go look HERE. It's one of my all time favorite releases. I don't work for them either so I am not saying that because I have to. I really LOVE their stuff!!!

I couldn't wait for this set to get here. It's one of my favorites:

I used masking paper so that I could do a one layer card. The sentiment came from another Simon Says Stamp set. I used Prismacolor Pencils to color it in.

Come by tomorrow. I have a very Punny card from the new Simon Says Stamp Card Kit to share with you.

Hugs!

Michelle
