Can you believe I didn't use ONE STAMP on this card?
These feathers are my favorite from the release. I have so many cards planned for these.
I also used a new stencil for the background. this stencil has so much potential. Love it. Anyhow, the newest challenge is Emboss it. I started by laying my stencil over my card and inking it in Hero Arts Mid-tone Navy and the new Hero Arts Silver Shadow ink....can you say absolutely GORGEOUS ink?
I ran a scrap piece of navy card stock through my Big Shot using a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I then die cut the feathers. The silver feather and the "thanks" were die cut with some Insulation tape that we used to hook up my dryer. It's adhesive backed and I absolutely LOVE the look of it. I knew exactly what I was going to do with that roll when we bought it from Home Depot. ;) I die cut the white feather out of wood grain paper. I added some My Minds Eye Enamel dots that I picked up on sale at Simon Says Stamp.
Off to play some more new products. Have a wonderful Monday!
