Wonderful World....ABNH challenge 12

Hi everyone! I am here tonight with the reveal of my card that is over on A Blog Named Hero today. Challenge #12 is up and it is a great one!

Here is my full card:

This card was so very simple to make. I started by stamping the background with Hero Arts Wet Cement, I then used my Silhouette to cut out these office tags by Lori Whitlock (linked to SVG files below in her online store). I heat embossed each tag and then used Distress inks to color the tag. I used a heavy dose of Perfect Pearls on them after. They have such a beautiful shine in real life.

The easiest way to the tags in the position that I wanted them was to put them in their order in my Silhouette Studio. I then grouped them together and cut them out. I saved the negative space after wards:

I rotated it to place it on my card where I wanted it. I used a small piece of washi tape to hold it in place and then I just attached the tags in the respective hole. I then lifted the template off of it and they were placed perfectly even.

Don't forget to play along with us over at A Blog Named Hero. As always, our wonderful Sponsor Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 gift certificate to one lucky person who plays along with us. Good Luck!

Michelle

Good minds think alike....my first thought was to use my Cameo for my card...and then I saw yours!! I love your layout and would never have thought of that! But...I'm still pretty sure I'll create my tag with my Cameo!!

Nice to see you back ...hope all is well! :)

Not sure if I already left a comment, but Michelle, this is AWESOME! Love the "collage" of tags... using the negative space as your template to reposition is brilliant! Such yummy colors, too. :)
