Hi everyone! I am here to share a new card and share my big news....first up, I have become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! I am very excited about this. I needed some sort of income and a job that would allow me the freedom to work around my health issues and my family's schedule. This was the perfect solution.
A lot of people have asked me if this means I won't be working with Hero Arts and their stamps anymore....ABSOLUTELY NOT! Hero is a part of me! Hero and Jen McGuire are the reason I stamp, I would never give them up. By the grace of God I found them at a very dark time in my life. Hero is a part of my heart. I own more Hero stamps than any other brand! :).
Secondly, I am also going to be opening a store on Etsy as well as out of my home. We are hoping in time to make it a brick and mortar. It's named after this blog, Page Master Designs. It has been in the works for a very long time now and I feel confident that I now have the time and resources to give it my full attention. I will be making invitations, announcements, thank you cards, party paraphernalia, mini albums and complete party packs. Hopefully, it will take off and I truly will be stamping for a living! :) I will keep you updated on it.
I will be using this blog for everything and I will be using my Stampin' Up! blog for all my Stampin' Up! stuff. You can find my Stampin' Up! blog HERE. You can place orders online directly from me by following the links on my site. I hope you will take the time to look. I would love to help you add to your collection of stamps....because you can never have too many! :)
So, with that all said it leads me to today's card....
I made this for my first workshop that I will be hosting in my home in the next couple of weeks. I was really excited about the Clean & Simple class I took through Online Card Classes. I think it's the best class I have ever taken. It really helped me learn that less is more! :)
I started by stamping with the "Just Believe" set. I really love this set and have a feeling it's going to be that "go to" set for me. There are so many things you can do with it.
I trimmed my card to 4.25 x 5.50. I cut a piece of Stampin' Up! card stock that measures 8.5 x 11 right down the middle at 4.25. You will get two cards that open from bottom to top when you cut your cardstock this way. Next crease the card at 5.50.
I started with the Real Red ink pad and inked the circle flower stamp up really well then stamped it on my Stamp-a-ma-jig. I lined it up and stamped it. I then moved the Stamp-a-ma-jig mat down and did the rest. I used Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz and Pumpkin Pie. After that was done I went back to my "Just Believe" stamp set and pulled out the title box with leaves. I inked it really well in Pear Pizzazz and then used my finger to wipe off the 2 flowers that are on it. I carefully inked those up with Real Red and stamped. I finished by using Basic Black and the "thank you" that is in the "Just Believe" set.
If you made it this far....THANK YOU!!! I know it was a long post today. I will be back with a much shorter post and a card tomorrow! :)
Until then....CHEERS! :)
