Have a Blast-CAS-Friday

Hello, today I am sharing a card that I made for ABNH for my extra project that is coming up later this month but then I decided to go in a whole new direction with that one!  So Instead of wasting the card I am going to share it here today. I made this card for a friends daughter who was starting college this year.

I wanted fresh and playful and this Ka-Boom set by CAS-Friday is just that!

I started by stamping the sides of the card with  Hero Arts Soft Granite. I accomplished this by masking off the center of the card before I stamped and then I added the thin black strips to break it up. This is a really good way to get dimension without adding bulk to your card. I then stamped the bombs. I wiped off some of the ink on the bottom bomb to make it appear as though it was really burning down.  The Ka-Boom blast was cut from my Silhouette. I colored it with Tombow markers and ran a water brush over it.

Here is a closer look:

I added some stickles to the fuse to give it that spark effect.  For the bottom bomb I used my white gell pen and some Wink of Stella to give the ash effect on the part that had already burned.

This is the inside of the card. It was really quick and simple to make. I love this stamp set and have lots more planned with it.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a FABULOUS Tuesday!

HUGS!
MICHELLE
