It's no secret I am a dog person. If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook you will see lots of pictures of my dogs. I was so excited when I finally got my hands on these LF stamps and dies.
I created a little scene of what my Maltese Lucy loves to do best...chase tennis balls. Of course, they have to be the squeaky kind. ;) They don't have a Maltese in this set but this little weiner dog worked just as well!
I started by cutting out hills, I just free handed them and inked the grass/hills with Distress Mowed Lawn and Hero Arts Green Hills. I stamped the tree using Lawn Fawn's "Into the Woods" set and some clouds from both LF and HA/Studio Calico. The top of the tree was hand cut using a piece of LF's Into the Woods 6x6 paper.
I used my Silhouette to cut the little runner hole for my dog. I pop dotted him onto the little strip of paper behind it and then pop dotted the whole card front onto a Forest Hero Arts Note card. I cut a little notch using a 1 inch circle punch and then pop dotted the tennis ball. When you pull the strip with the tennis ball it reveals the sentiment.
I love interactive cards. This one is so very simple to make. Please stop by A Blog Named Hero to see what the other girls have done. It's been a totally inspiring week.
Also, don't forget you still have time to enter our latest challenge...Shaped Cards. You will be entered into a drawing for this:
Just remember that you must follow the Challenge rules to be entered. Each qualifying entry earns your name into the drawing.
Until next time....
