Announcements & a Card

Hi everyone, I have a few things to share today. First, I would like to announce that I was chosen as one of the newest Design Team Members over at Scrapmaster's Paradise. I am beyond thrilled about this. If you have not been there I highly suggest you take a gander at some of the stamps that Sami, the owner, has over there. They are AMAZING!!! Here are some of my favorites:

Secondly,Scrapmaster's Paradise is having a huge release party and online crop this weekend! You can read about it HERE. I will be hosting a challenge on Saturday night at 4:00 p.m. I really hope you can stop by. Her store is chock full of GREAT PRODUCTS!!!

and finally....today's card!

I was completely intimidated by this months Hero Arts monthly challenge. If there is one thing I do not create well with it's color challenges and Spring/Easter. I struggle to say the least. I was determined to make some cards for this months challenges and so far I have TWO! I will post the other tomorrow.



I created the jar out of transparency, I used a silver leafing pen to cover the backside of the jar top to make it look more real. I stamped the grass and then used the same image from the Silhouette store to cut more grass to give it a really dimensional feel. The net is from the Silhoutte store. I also used the Hero Arts Fun Flags from the Silhouette store to create the banner. The flowers are from one of my very first Hero Arts purchases over 10 yrs ago.
