I was a cynic. I didn't believe it could be done. Not by me at least. I am here to say that I DID IT!! I created this entire card start to finish in 4 1/2 minutes. It was in the envelope in those last 30 seconds! My son had a birthday party to go to on my daughter's birthday. I was insane trying to get everything done, dinner for 6, dogs fed, gifts wrapped, it was portfolio night at my daughters school and I had to get him to a party. All before 6:00 p.m. I forgot about his party, I forgot to make the card. He had to leave in 10 minutes and I had that card done in hand in 5 minutes!!! So proud of myself.
I took the Life of the Party word stamp and inked it in Stone Wash Mid-tone by Hero Arts and stamped in on a Hero blue note card. I then pulled my draw of pre-done die cuts and grabbed the star, guitar and U and attached them to the front. The word "ROCK" is Basic Grey letter stickers. I stamped Happy Birthday inside with a candle....from a Hero set, colored it super quick with Copics and handed it off to my son to sign.
So simple. So fast. So happy! :)
Ok I have 8 screaming, giggling, goofy 11/12 year olds bombing around my house. Lord, let me make it through the night! lol See you on Monday! =)
