Here comes the sun

Good morning!!! It's a beautiful Saturday here in Massachusetts. The sun is shining and for once we are not getting that cold ocean breeze. I made this card a while back for a Paper Crafts sketch call. I love this card. It's just fun and it has one of my favorite songs on it by the Beatles.



The inspiration for this card was the KI Puffies. I had just got them in the mail and couldn't wait to use them. I created my card digitally first. Placing a circle where I wanted the sun to be and then manipulating the text I created the sun rays. I then printed it. I also created the inside of the card at the same time and printed it on patterned paper. I punched a hole in the card then punched holes to stitch the sun rays. I back-stitched the sun rays in with DMC floss. I punched some clouds, highlighted them with some Copics and then stitched the edge of the card.

Easey Peasy. I didn't use one stamp on this card. I am shocked. It's rare when that happens :) Off to plant flowers and veggies. Have a wonderful day.
