Thank you ever so much--Card Patterns #62

Well this little ole card started out as many things...it was a monochromatic for the challenge at Caardvarks, Card Patterns #62, and entry for Gallery Idol and my Mother's Day card for my mom. I missed the Caardvarks challenge due to my back but it's going to the other 3! I love combining challenges. I think it pushes me harder and I always get something I never would have gotten otherwise.

This card is pure cardstock. I love that my Silhouette lets me create something like this and only have to add minimal embellishments. The paper is all Hero Arts layering paper in snow. I love this for my Silhouette. It cuts so beautifully, especially for intricate details and it's so easy to separate from the Silhouette mat.

I ran some scraps through my Big Shot using a Cuttlebug folder and then I punched them into circles, distressed the edges and then layered them to make the flowers. I used Copics to color the butterfly and then covered the top layer with stickles. There are rolled up glue dots going down the center of the butterfly to give it dimension.

Products used:
Silhouette shapes: Butterfly Border, ( Butterfly_ border_2_C00540_19210); Butterfly Lace Circle (butterfly_lace_circle_C00501_19210); Tag Card (tag_card_C00238_19547)
Stamps: Thoughtful Messages (CL184)
Paper: Hero Arts layering paper in snow white
rub on: American Crafts (inside front flap--not pictured)
Punch: Marvy
Others: Stickles, buttons, embossing folder, gluedots, glitter (doodlebug)
Ink: Ranger Distress inks, Memories
