Tuesday Trigger...times 3!

There will be 3 cards from me tonight. I did THREE cards for this weeks Moxie Fab challenge. I fell in love with these colors and had ideas just over flowing. Maybe I should be sick more often. I have been on a creating roll! (ha! only kidding...not more sickness!!!!!!)

Before we go any further I need to apologize for my pitiful images. My camera has bit the dust. My beloved side-kick has gone to the great camera shop in the sky. My cell phone camera is broken too. Alas, I am cameraless and with both dh and I being out of work right now I must sadly use my daughters camera. It's a little Kodak that is great for a 9 yr old but not so much for me. Anyhow....I am sorry the pictures look so flat. I can't do anything about it. Even photoshop laughed at me! ;)

Without further ado......

Here's the trigger:
Lime Polka Dot Cupcake Liner from TheBirthdayHouse
And Here is my first card:
3 tulips
Nothing fancy here! I just punched a bunch of circles, I used a Hero Arts digital kit that I downloaded from 2 peas and printed the tulips and then I colored them with Copics. I have 3 others that I covered with Glossy Accents....I am sure I will find a use for them. ;)

Next up we have this one:

single tulip

This one is also a Hero Arts Digital image. This one comes from Silhouette though. I used distress inks to color it in and the back ground too and then I covered it will perfect pearls to give it an incredible shimmer. I just can't get enough of these citrus colors but I wanted this one more muted. I love the shabby feel to this one. Here's a close up of that shimmery goodness:

and lastly and my most favorite one:
I just stamped the new Large Flower Pattern Stamp from Hero Arts in Embossing ink, used white embossing powder on a white notecard and then colored it in with Copics. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy! :)

Vibrant flowers

If you have any questions as to product I will gladly answer them. I am beat and MUST get sleep before that alarm goes off in the morning!

Have a FANTABULOUS MONDAY! :)

Sympathy card

Hi real quick post....It's late and I have to teach a new computer program to a bunch of 8th graders at 8:00 a.m tomorrow.

I made this card the other day. I finally am getting to play with all those yummy Hero Arts stamps that showed up at my house a couple weeks ago. It was torture to see all those sets sitting there uninked.

I did lots of layering and masking on this one. It went pretty fast...thanks to my stamp-a-ma-jig! Love that thing. Anyhow....I will be back with more tomorrow.

Reject #2

This is another reject from the Paper Crafts Sketches call. I actually have to say that it doesn't bother me that these didn't get picked....it gives me content for my blog! :D

Peachy Keen

I had just gone on a shopping trip to my LSS the owner had just gotten back from CHA and had a huge box of paper that she had received as samples from there. I grabbed all the American Crafts that I could find. I LOVE this Peachy Keen line. You can find it all HERE at 2 Peas. The flower is Hero Arts layered flower (CL496)

I actually made my mom the same exact card for her birthday but I put a sentiment on the top of it. I'll add a sentiment when I decide to send this one out.

Short and simple tonight. Day 7 of Vertigo.

Have a wonderful day/night :)

Retro Phone

retro phone copy
I thought I would share one of the cards that I submitted to the recent Paper Crafts magazine "sketches" call that didn't get chosen. I used a Silhouette shape to create the phone and I only added some patterned paper, some silver cardstock a brad and a Hero arts stamp. It was really fast and easy. As a final touch I used flocking on the cord

I am sorry I have not updated. I am suffering from a severe case of Vertigo right now. It's been 3 days. Hoping it leaves soon. I miss stamping and the www. Can only look at the computer screen for a few minutes before it starts spinning.

Happy Crafting everyone! :)

Wishing you...

Quick post tonight. I am exhausted. I have had a house full of sick kids this week...including myself. Everyone is better but I killed myself trying to get cards in for the Paper Crafts Magazine call and I desperately need sleep.

I watched this video over at Hero Arts: Video By Shari Carroll. Watch it. It's amazing. I watched it twice. Then I set out to play. The only thing I did different than Shari is to use water with golden Perfect Pearls inside. I love the shimmer it gave.

Wishing you..

My new favorite Distress ink is Pumice Stone. I can't stop using it. I used that and Antique Linen for the background. The rest are a modge podge of Distress Colors.

Here's a close up of all that glimmery goodness:

Will be back, hopefully tomorrow, with another post. I have LOTS of birthday cards to make this month! :)

Sweet Dreams (or Good Morning!)
